Welcome

A Parish of the Old Paths

“Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. — Jeremiah 6:16

King’s Way is a Reformed church in the Anglican tradition, here in Prescott, Arizona. Each Lord’s Day we gather to hear God’s Word preached plainly and verse by verse, to sing hymns, and to receive the Lord’s Supper. Families worship together.

Our Confession

Biblical. Conservative. Reformed.

We hold the faith as the Anglican Church confessed it at the Reformation: the Scriptures as supreme, the Creeds as faithful summaries, the Articles as our confession, and the Prayer Book as our rule of worship.

I

Holy Scripture

The written Word of God, containing all things necessary to salvation.

II

Historic Creeds

The Apostles’, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds: the faith once delivered.

III

The Thirty-Nine Articles

The Reformation confession of the English Church, received in their plain sense.

IV

The Book of Common Prayer

The 1662 Prayer Book and Ordinal, the pattern of our worship and ministry.

“We are accounted righteous before God, only for the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by Faith.”

Article XI · Of the Justification of Man

Shepherds of the Flock

Our Pastors

Our pastors are confessionally Reformed and seminary-trained, bound by solemn vow to teach the Scriptures as summarized in the Thirty-Nine Articles. They preach the Word, administer the Sacraments, catechize the young, and watch over the souls entrusted to them, as those who must give account (Hebrews 13:17).
